Megin keeps up with your world, and looks like magic.
Megin is the RPG add-on for MidgardPlus: Ullr's hunters, your own powers, paths, contracts and the 200 floors of Himinbjörg. The Megin that comes with 1.56 needs MidgardPlus 1.56.0.
Power damage: follows the bosses you've beaten: 45 before any boss, about 20 more with each one, the full 180 only after the Fader.
Fair: a high Megin level can't outhit the weapons of your biome anymore.
Escorts: whoever you walk home in the Black Forest and harder land gets health for that land, grows tougher if you lead them somewhere worse, and heals once nobody has hit them for a few seconds.
Powers look like magic
In your hands: every cast gathers Megin in your hands in your affinity colour first.
Bolts: shots are Megin bolts with a trail in your colour, and every hit shows its element and makes a sound.
Shapes: buffs glow softly while they last, zones show their ring, dashes leave a streak and holds draw a thin line to the target. Other players see it too.
Calm: dim lights and little smoke, and even less on Lighter graphics Low end.
Easier to read and follow
Megin book: on Left Alt and J: your next step, a short start for new hunters, your quests and every power as a card with cost, rest time and how to unlock it.
Quest tracker: shows your next step, a progress bar, how far it is and an arrow. F10 still moves it.
Tells you why: when a power won't fire it says why: not enough Megin, still resting, no foe in sight or still chanting.
Bigger words: every Megin window grows with your UI scale, and Megin text size makes them bigger still.
Plan your powers: the Megin power builder on this site lets you try them before you play.
