Tick what you want and download one file. OBS gets all seven MidgardPlus scenes, your game, webcam, alerts, chat and audio already set up. You just pick your mic and camera.
1. Your details
These go into every scene, same as on the kit page.
2. What goes in
This file will hold your Twitch login. Your alerts and chat links came over from the connect page, and they go into the OBS file as they are. Anyone with the file can read your alerts and chat as you. Don't share it, don't upload it anywhere, don't show your OBS source settings on stream, and delete the download once it's imported. If it ever gets out, disconnect MidgardPlus Live at twitch.tv/settings/connections.
Want our own alerts and chat in there too? Connect with Twitch first, then hit Build my OBS setup on that page. The links come straight here without going through the address bar.
3. What you get
Audio mixer
4. Put it in OBS
In OBS, open Scene Collection in the top menu, then Import. Pick the file you downloaded, make sure it's ticked, hit Import, then switch to MidgardPlus Kit in the Scene Collection menu.
Open Settings then Audio, or right click Mic and Discord in the mixer and pick Properties, and choose your devices. Mic starts on your Windows default mic.
Right click Webcam, pick Properties and choose your camera. It's left empty on purpose so it doesn't grab the wrong one.
Discord starts muted. Click its speaker icon in the mixer when you want voice chat on stream, and click it again to shut it up.
If a Browser source looks blank, right click it and choose Refresh.
Your stream key and output settings stay yours. Importing scenes doesn't touch Settings then Stream or Output. Valheim capture waits for the game, so start Valheim and it shows up on its own. Discord needs to be open for its audio to be found.
5. Stream settings (optional)
Good starting point for Valheim on Twitch: 1920 x 1080 output, 60 fps, 6000 kbps video, 160 kbps audio. With an NVIDIA card use NVIDIA NVENC H.264, otherwise x264 on veryfast. Set them by hand in Settings then Output and Video, or grab a ready profile:
Unzip it. You get a folder called MidgardPlus.
In OBS open Profile, then Import, and pick that folder.
Switch to it in the Profile menu. A new profile has no stream key, so put yours in Settings then Stream once.
The canvas follows the size you picked above and the output is always 1920 x 1080, which is what Twitch likes. No login or key is in the profile.
Good to know
Windows only. Discord and Valheim sound use Application Audio Capture, which needs OBS 28 or newer on Windows 10 2004 or newer. On Mac or Linux the scenes still work, but you add game, camera and audio sources yourself.
Made for OBS 30 and newer. OBS tidies the file up the first time it loads it, so it may look a little different if you open it in a text editor afterwards.
MidgardPlus Live links run out after a while. When they do, connect again and paste the new links into the two Browser sources, no need to import again.
